## FAQ

### Is Unitpost as reliable as Postmark for password resets?

We won't claim that yet. Postmark's deliverability reputation is the best in the category and it is measured, not marketing. We have the mechanisms — guided SPF/DKIM/DMARC with continuous re-verification, automatic bounce and complaint suppression, soft-bounce escalation, and a domain state machine that blocks sending when DNS regresses — but we have no public inbox-placement record to point at. If a missed password reset is genuinely expensive for you, Postmark is the safer choice today.

### Why would I move from Postmark to Unitpost?

Usually because you now need marketing email as well. Postmark is deliberately transactional-first, so teams typically pair it with a second marketing tool and run two contact lists and two bills. Unitpost covers both in one product with unlimited contacts. Cost is the other common reason — Postmark is the most expensive option in the category by design.

### Do you separate transactional and marketing sending?

We separate them logically rather than as distinct products. Marketing-category sends always carry an injected unsubscribe footer and List-Unsubscribe headers that cannot be removed, and one-to-many marketing sends are refused on the transactional API with a 422 — batch marketing has to go through campaigns. That protects the same reputation concern Postmark's message streams address, but from inside one product.
