# List a contact's segments

`GET /api/v1/contacts/{id}/segments`

The segments the contact is in: static segments by membership, with its per-segment opt-out (`subscribed`), and dynamic segments whose filter it matches now. Not paginated. From the segment's side, see [List segment members](https://www.unitpost.com/docs/platform/get-segments-id-contacts). The `{id}` accepts a contact id or email. Requires the `contacts:read` capability.

| `type` | enum | yes | A dynamic segment's members come from its filter; they can't be added or removed by hand. One of: `static`, `dynamic`. |

| `unsubscribed_at` | string \| null | yes | — |

## Responses

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| 200 | The contact's segments (`has_more` is always false). |
| 401 | Missing or invalid API key. |
| 403 | Insufficient scope. |
| 404 | Contact not found. |
