# Archive a messaging program

`DELETE /api/v1/sms/messaging-programs/{id}`

Archive a program. Registrations that copied it keep their copy; [Duplicate a messaging program](https://www.unitpost.com/docs/sms/post-sms-messaging-programs-id-duplicate) to use it again. Requires the `sms:manage` capability.

## Parameters

## Responses

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| 204 | Archived. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid API key. |
| 403 | Insufficient scope. |
| 404 | Messaging program not found (or already archived), or SMS is not enabled. |
| 422 | A query key (this operation takes none). |
