# Remove an SMS test number

`DELETE /api/v1/sms/test-destinations/{id}`

Remove a test number; template tests can no longer text it. Requires the `sms:manage` capability.

## Parameters

## Responses

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| 204 | Removed. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid API key. |
| 403 | Insufficient scope. |
| 404 | Test number not found, or SMS is not enabled. |
| 422 | A query key (this operation takes none). |
| 429 | Too many test-number changes; honor Retry-After. |
| 502 | Couldn't reach the carrier; try again. |
