# List SMS topics

`GET /api/v1/sms/topics`

Retrieve your SMS subscription topics, cursor-paginated. An SMS topic is a category of marketing SMS (e.g. Flash sales) recipients can opt out of while still receiving your other texts. SMS and email topics are separate: a contact's email preference never changes their SMS one, and STOP still opts a number out of every SMS. Pass `?archived=true` to list archived topics instead. Create one with [Create an SMS topic](https://www.unitpost.com/docs/sms/post-sms-topics). Requires the `topics:read` capability.

## Parameters

| `limit` | query | integer | no | Max rows to return (default 20, max 100). |
| `after` | query | string | no | Return rows after this id (forward paging). |
| `before` | query | string | no | Return rows before this id (backward paging). |
| `archived` | query | boolean | no | When true, list only archived SMS topics instead of active ones. |

## Responses

| 200 | A page of SMS topics. |
| 401 | Missing or invalid API key. |

| 404 | SMS is not enabled for this workspace. |
| 422 | Invalid pagination params. |
