# Pricing

> One price. One allowance. Everything included.

Your monthly price is a sending balance you spend across every channel — and marketing, automations, and unlimited contacts are in the box, not billed separately like everywhere else.

## How it works

- One flat monthly subscription per paid tier.
- That price **is** your monthly sending allowance (dollar wallet).
- Marketing features are included on every paid tier — no per-contact tax.
- Paid overage is capped at 2× the monthly allowance.
- Free tier: 3k emails/mo, 100/day hard caps.

## FAQ

### How does pricing work?

Pick a tier and pay one flat monthly price. That price is also your monthly sending allowance — a dollar balance spent on what you send at your tier's rates. Every feature (campaigns, automations, unlimited contacts) is included; you're only ever metered on sending.

### What is the monthly sending allowance?

A dollar allowance included with your plan, equal to your plan price. Sends draw from it at your tier's rate (e.g. $0.50 / 1,000 emails on Starter). It refreshes at the start of every billing period. Email uses it today; SMS and WhatsApp will draw from the same allowance when they launch.

### Does unused allowance roll over?

The monthly allowance refreshes each period like the rest of your subscription — it doesn't accumulate. If you regularly need more, move up a plan (or a commit stop) for a bigger allowance and a cheaper rate. When you upgrade mid-period, the unused part of your current allowance carries into the new plan's period.

### Do marketing features cost extra?

No. Campaigns, automations, topic unsubscribes, A/B testing, and unlimited contacts are included on every paid tier. A campaign email costs exactly the same as a transactional email — one rate, one meter.

### What counts as an email?

Each sent message counts once, regardless of whether it's delivered, bounces, or fails at the provider level. Multiple To, CC, or BCC recipients on a single send each count.

### How many contacts can I store?

Unlimited on every paid plan. The free tier is capped at 1,000 contacts to prevent abuse. (We apply a very high fair-use ceiling on paid plans — if you're approaching it we'll reach out, never hard-block your sends.)

### What happens if I use up my allowance?

Paid plans keep sending on pay-as-you-go overage at your plan's overage rate (a little above your plan rate — so if you're regularly over, upgrading is always cheaper), capped at 2× your monthly allowance, then sending pauses. The free tier stops at its limit (and its daily cap) until the next cycle or an upgrade.

### How are inbound emails counted?

Inbound (received) messages on your verified domains are parsed and delivered to your app via webhook. Inbound is available on every paid plan and doesn't count toward your sending allowance.

### Can I switch plans at any time?

Upgrade or downgrade whenever you like. Changes prorate automatically, and on an upgrade the unused part of your current allowance carries into the new plan.

### Do you offer annual billing?

Self-serve plans are billed monthly with no commitment — cancel any time. Annual contracts are available for Enterprise; reach out to sales.

### Do you offer non-profit or education pricing?

We do. Reach out to sales from a verified non-profit or educational organization and we'll set you up with discounted pricing.

### What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Enterprise plans can be invoiced and paid by ACH or wire.

### Is the free tier really usable in production?

Yes. It includes the full API, templates, tracking, and deliverability features — sized to get a real product off the ground. The 100/day cap keeps shared IPs healthy while you grow.

### I need more volume or better rates. What now?

Enterprise plans come with a custom allowance and volume rates — plus custom retention or a dedicated IP at scale. Use the “Chat for custom pricing” link under the plans.
